Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in our culinary operations, focusing on creating a variety of baked goods that delight our patrons.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a range of baked items including cakes, cookies, muffins, and puddings.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including mixers.
  • Complete daily production and sanitation documentation to comply with health standards.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Meet all established sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of one to two years of experience in baking or a related field.
  • Knowledge of yeast and pre-ferment techniques.
  • Previous experience in food service is advantageous.
  • A strong customer service orientation and the ability to thrive in a student-focused environment.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is $15.
