We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to take on a leadership role as a Technician Supervisor at VCA Animal Hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of veterinary technicians in providing high-quality patient care
  • Developing and implementing effective workflows and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
  • Collaborating with veterinarians and other hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records and reports
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

  • Hold a current veterinary technician license in the state of Hawaii or be eligible to obtain one
  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in veterinary nursing, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Be proficient in veterinary emergency and critical care nursing, as well as organizational and problem-solving skills

This leadership position offers a competitive salary of $28.00 per hour, dependent on experience, education, and certification.
