Christopher's Reason is a fully operating licensed OASAS 822 Outpatient clinic equipped with a full medical, clinical, and peer support team. We are seeking to hire a part-time Registered Nurse bilingual in Spanish with familiarity and experience in the field of addiction to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Care: Monitor and assess client conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Medication Administration: Administer subcutaneous injections.
  • Documentation: Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Specimen Collection: Perform specimen collection processing and coordinate laboratory testing.
  • Observation: Observe clients under treatment to identify and progress, side-effects of medications etc.
  • Medical History: Maintains timely, accurate, and appropriate documentation of clients medical history.
  • Communication: Accurately prepare notes when working with the DR/NP.
  • Reporting: Report daily and brief team of shift changes.
Requirements
  • Valid RN License: Valid RN license and registration.
  • Clinical Experience: Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
  • SUD Experience: Experience in SUD.
  • Medication Administration: Familiarity with administering injections and medications.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
