Job Summary

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to healthcare professionals. This includes preparing patients for examination, recording patient care documentation, and coordinating patient care as directed by physicians and company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment
  • Record patient care documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians and company standards
  • Respect patient confidentiality and treat patients with courtesy and respect
  • Organize exam and treatment rooms, stock, and clean rooms and sterilize instruments
  • Practice standard infection control precautions
  • Telephone and in-person screening limited to intake and gathering of information without requiring the exercise of judgment based on clinical knowledge
  • Support and follow Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO)
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certified Medical Assistant, or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment
  • Current BLS certification, or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment
