Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Texas Thrift Killeen,TX #131 - Killeen. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
  • Assist in achieving sales targets, monitor sales performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Supervise and support store staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources, training, and tools to perform their roles effectively.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing team members, fostering a positive work environment and enhancing employee engagement.
  • Maintain store appearance and cleanliness standards, ensuring visual merchandising is effectively executed.
  • Assist in implementing marketing and promotional initiatives to drive foot traffic and increase sales.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and inventory reports to identify trends, optimize product assortment, and minimize shrinkage.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement operational procedures, policies, and guidelines to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Monitor adherence to company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, and take action to address any violations.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively.
  • Above average written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask while working on a team or independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, recommend solutions, make or influence decisions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience in retail sales or customer service, with a minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory or team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both customers and staff.
