We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Professor of Orthodontics to join our esteemed faculty at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine. Located on our Portland Campus for the Health Sciences, we are committed to improving oral healthcare in rural areas.

About the Position

This part-time adjunct clinical track position is designed for an experienced orthodontic professional who can contribute to our dynamic educational environment. As a Clinical Professor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of dentists.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical and simulation instruction in the Department of Preventative, Pediatric, & Community Dentistry
  • Mentorship and guidance of students in a patient-centered, comprehensive care clinical learning environment
Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must possess:

  • A D.D.S./D.M.D. degree or international equivalent
  • Completion of a CODA-accredited graduate program in Orthodontics
  • Board Certification or eligibility as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics
  • Active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure (full)
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
