Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic Specialist II to join our facilities management team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and steam control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and steam control systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on related equipment and buildings to ensure safe and proper operations
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and written technical documents to locate areas of trouble and complete repairs accurately
  • Operate and maintain building equipment and systems, including vacuum systems, control air systems, and emergency generators
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with assigned equipment, systems, and buildings
  • Practice all applicable safety regulations and use personal protective equipment as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in building maintenance with a supported Journeyman's/Apprentice licensure or degree
  • Valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist
