We are seeking a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient private practice in Pittsburgh, PA.
The ideal candidate will have experience in joint and trigger point injections, as well as orthopedic experience and good clinical exam skills.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive orthopedic/musculoskeletal exams and consultations
- Evaluate clinical data and order appropriate tests/imaging/records
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients
- Provide patient education on diagnosis and treatment options
- Consult with supervisory physicians as needed
- Document patient care in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform joint and trigger point injections using ultrasound guidance
- Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program
- PA/NP license in Pennsylvania
- Experience with joint injections
- Orthopedic/physical medicine and rehabilitation or family medicine background preferred
- Competitive pay: $650 per day (depending on experience) plus bonus potential (up to additional $150/day)
- Flexible schedule: 1 day per week (7:30-5:00/5:30 on every Wednesday) with possibility of increasing hours/days in the future or an additional day (Mon) if willing to travel to our clinic in Youngstown, OH
