About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Dodge Park Rest Home, a leading provider of memory care services in New England. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing nutritious meals for our residents, guests, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special functions, adhering to dietary guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring proper food storage and preparation for the next day's service.
  • Comply with Serve Safe guidelines and regulations to ensure food safety and quality.
  • In the absence of the kitchen manager, oversee daily food and supply ordering.
  • Supervise a team of dietary aides and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong English communication skills and ability to read menus.
  • Previous food service preparation experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Serve Safe certification preferred, with the option to train and obtain certification within the first six months.
  • Recent physical and TB test results.
  • Able to work well with coworkers and maintain a positive attitude.
