RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License or active Compact Registered Nurse License with New Jersey endorsement.
- BLS through American Heart Association upon hire.
- ACLS Certification within 6 months of the start date.
- Med./Surg. Telemetry and/or ER nursing experience is required.
- ER certifications and/or national nursing certifications are preferred.
