Overview:
As a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be instrumental in fostering the communication and language skills of students. This role involves close collaboration with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify and support students with speech and language impairments, ensuring they thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough assessments to diagnose communication disorders.
  • Design and execute tailored treatment strategies for students facing speech and language difficulties.
  • Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and specialists to cultivate an inclusive educational atmosphere.
  • Deliver direct therapeutic services to students, both one-on-one and in group formats.
  • Track and record student progress, modifying intervention plans as necessary.
  • Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing valuable contributions to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide training and resources to educators and staff regarding speech and language development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Preferred experience in a school environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of professionals.
