Job Overview

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, offers a rewarding career as a Hospital Security Officer. In this role, you will serve and safeguard a high-profile healthcare customer, ensuring the safety and security of staff, members, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, including suspicious activity, crime, and disorder
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks and hazards
  • Screen members, visitors, and client employees to expedite their admittance to the facility
  • Respond to emergencies, including fires, medical emergencies, and inclement weather
  • May also include patient escort, patient watch, and providing safety escorts
Requirements
  • Prior work experience involving customer service, troubleshooting, and managing stressful situations
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen
