Tax Advisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients on a year-round basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
• Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide tax planning advice.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Provide tax audit support and representation to clients, ensuring a smooth and successful audit process.
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and provide ongoing education and training to clients on tax-related matters.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience working with virtual tools, including video conferencing and chat.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
