Job Description

This position requires a skilled Welder to join our production team. The successful candidate will have experience working with MIG welders, fixtures, and basic welding tools. They will be responsible for fitting and welding parts using production drawings, shop travelers, and work instructions as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing various welding tasks, including vertical, flat, and overhead welding.
  • Operating MIG welders, fixtures, and basic welding tools.
  • Following required procedures and using appropriate fixtures to assist in the assembly process.
  • Verifying conformance of finished part to print specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a High School diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years' experience or vocational schooling in related field.
  • Candidate must have knowledge of welding processes and equipment.
  • Candidate must be able to weld vertical, flat, and overhead with a good penetration and a quality weld.
  • Candidate must have ability to operate acetylene torches.
  • Candidate must have exceptional math skills including metric system and angles.
  • Candidate must be able to read tape measures and angle finders as well as reading blueprint drawings and AWS symbols.
  • Candidate must have the ability to operate a forklift and overhead cranes.
  • Candidate must be able to weld in awkward positions such as kneeling or lying down. And be able to work from a ladder.
  • Candidate must be able to work a full-time, 5-days per week 10-hours per shift
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • *Qualified applicants must be 19+ years of age, meet background check, pre-employment drug testing and previous employment reference verification requirements.

Salary Range: $22.00 + per hour DOE (Based on location and experience).
