We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Immunization Program Coordinator. This role will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the Immunization program, including vaccine administration, storage, and handling. The successful candidate will work closely with the Community Health Nursing Director to ensure the program's success.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement the Immunization program, including vaccine administration, storage, and handling.
- Work closely with the Community Health Nursing Director to ensure the program's success.
- Provide education and training to clients and staff on immunization procedures and protocols.
- Manage vaccine inventory and ensure compliance with CDC and FL DOH guidelines.
- Participate in outbreak disease investigations and provide support to the School Health Nurse with outreach immunization programs.
- Valid RN licensure in the State of Florida.
- One or more years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting.
- Experience working in a busy clinic setting and ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to work in web-based programs.
