We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at United Surgical Partners. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts, adjusting equipment for proper exposure, and monitoring accessory equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts
- Adjust equipment for proper exposure and voltage
- Monitor accessory equipment and assist attending physicians with fluoroscopic examinations
- Record film exposure and label with identifying information
- Consult with lead x-ray tech and radiologist to ensure compliance with established standards of quality
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience preferred
- AART Registered, State of Tennessee MRT, and CPR Current
- Knowledgeable of local, state, federal, and Joint Commission Regulations
- Independent decision-making skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
