The Associate will oversee the company’s environment, ensuring its availability, performance, and security. This position also plays a crucial role in safeguarding company data and in the planning and execution of policies and procedures that align with company objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will ensure that all technical implementations and support are of the highest quality, meeting the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address the technical requirements of IT personnel and users of both internal and external systems. Develop and maintain actionable monitoring, alerts, and notifications for the environment. Promptly troubleshoot and resolve issues to guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Manage the daily operations of IT infrastructure with a strong focus on the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of virtualization technologies.
- Assist in the administration of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and its functionalities.
- Support the implementation, management, and upkeep of the M365 environment, which encompasses Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related services.
- Oversee the creation and management of user and group accounts.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics.
- Ensure the security of organizational services and data.
- Maintain compliance features such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), and eDiscovery.
- Manage Azure AD identities, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Participate in migration initiatives, such as transferring data to OneDrive or transitioning from other services to M365.
- Regularly review updates and changes to the environment, communicating any impacts or benefits to the organization.
- Stay informed on best practices and emerging features to maximize the organization’s technology investments.
- Analyze metrics, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resources. Monitor utilization trends and plan for necessary upgrades or enhancements.
- Manage daily support for network servers, workstations, cloud services, and other organizational devices as required.
- Maintain and monitor the IT asset inventory, producing accurate records for software licensing, hardware warranties, and other necessary documentation for vendor support and compliance.
- Enforce IT system usage policies through monitoring of security measures and other defined procedures.
- Coordinate and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure resource availability.
- Perform automated job scheduling, programming, scripting, and report generation as needed.
- Create and maintain automation for resource deployments and management.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system manuals, process logs, and security protocols.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by IT management.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Operations, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience in an IT department as a System Administrator, with hands-on experience managing Active Directory and contemporary operating systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and enterprise backup solutions.
- Familiarity with Azure infrastructure and resource management, as well as M365 services management.
- Experience with IT service management platforms.
- Knowledge of M365 security features and compliance auditing in regulated environments.
- Experience with third-party tools that enhance M365 functionality is a plus.
- Experience managing mobile device management policies is preferred.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop is advantageous.
Work Environment:
- General office working conditions may require prolonged periods of sitting.
- Infrequent overnight travel may be necessary.
