As a Medical Technologist at St. John's Episcopal Hospital, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of patient care by performing qualitative and quantitative analysis on all specimens received in the laboratory. Your understanding of the principles of tests performed and working knowledge of the equipment used in the station assigned will enable you to make accurate diagnoses and contribute to the hospital's mission of providing comprehensive preventive, diagnostic treatment and rehabilitative services to the community.
The successful candidate will have a NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or valid permit issued by NYSDOE Clinical Laboratory and Technology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Lab Science and 3-5 years experience as a hematology technologist with recent experience required.
