About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites Speedway. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance and repair functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by responding promptly to guest requests and resolving maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, changing light bulbs, inspecting and repairing grout and caulking, and maintaining pool equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system to ensure safe maintenance practices.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all departments and communicate regularly to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
