Our company is located in Orlando, Florida, in the heart of the Central Florida Research Park, close to the University of Central Florida.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Integration Architect professional to join our team. The Integration Architect will design and implement large-scale, complex systems, leading architecture and design efforts while integrating with existing platforms. They will also manage relationships with external systems and integration partners, ensuring effective collaboration and seamless system interoperability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement large-scale, complex systems.
  • Lead the architecture and design efforts for software projects while integrating into the existing platform.
  • Develop architectural documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and system blueprints.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with integration partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Proven experience as a System Architect and/or Software Architect integrating with external systems, with 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of and prior experience Model and Simulation (M&S) systems with an emphasis on:
    • Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) Federation of systems and technologies
    • Joint After Action Review - Resource Library (JAAR-RL)
  • Familiarity with USMC simulation systems and interoperability.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and practices, particularly in system architecture.
  • Solid understanding of system and software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and design innovative solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Expertise in data modeling and design, with experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Knowledge of other database types is a plus.
  • Experience working with RabbitMQ and Kafka. Knowledge of other message queue technologies and Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) is a plus.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and integration partners.
  • Must have or be able to obtain Top Secret clearance.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
  • Must have a passport and be a US citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML)
  • Previous experience in the defense industry, especially in training and simulation.
