John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse II to join our Medical Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to a diverse population of patients with various medical and surgical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of California.
- 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical Surgical setting.
- Ability to work a 3-shift schedule with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
