About This Role

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Gastroenterologist to join our team in Maywood, Illinois. This locum tenens position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services to patients in a variety of clinical settings.
  • Perform a range of procedures, including esophageal dilatation/manometry & interpretation, small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, and insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube.
  • Interpret capsule deployment, Bravo, PH impedance, breath test results, esophageal and anorectal manometry interpretations, and Endoflip procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois Medical License or IMLC.
  • Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination.
