We are seeking a highly skilled Certified American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to join our team at Ladgov Corporation. The successful candidate will provide in-person ASL interpretation services for our employees during meetings and other events.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and effective ASL interpretation services for our employees, ensuring clear communication between hearing and deaf staff.
- Translate spoken English to ASL and vice versa during meetings, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure high accuracy in interpretation, particularly for non-technical terms.
- Facilitate post-meeting communication to ensure both hearing and deaf staff understand actions required.
- Certified ASL Interpreter (National Interpreter Certification, Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience providing ASL interpretation in professional settings.
- Proficient in sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign interpretation.
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms is a plus.
- Strong time management and adaptability to meet attendance requirements for scheduled meetings.
