Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and preparing project designs, calculations, and drawings for various structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and prepare project designs, calculations, and drawings for steel bridges, pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete bridges, cast-in-place flat slabs, and miscellaneous structures.
  • Effectively apply pre-established design templates and propose innovative solutions to design problems.
  • Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review.
  • Assign, track, and review tasks of technicians or designers, applying technical discretion to first revisions of technician work product.
  • Potential to serve as the Engineer-of-Record on assigned engineering tasks.
  • Manage timely completion of multiple assigned tasks and communicate effectively with team members, internal design groups, and external entities.
  • Present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings and contribute to presentations with external parties.
  • Adhere to company marketing requirements and ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports.
  • Take ownership of personal career development and contribute to the development of other team members through mentorship and positive behaviors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
  • 4+ years of experience in structural engineering.
