About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to develop and implement a curriculum that enhances the clinical education and scholarly advancement for residents in a 4-4-4 residency program. The successful candidate will split time between teaching and providing direct patient care for patients at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) clinic, as well as providing supervision of residents on the inpatient Family Medicine Teaching Service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a curriculum that enhances the clinical education and scholarly advancement for residents
- Provide direct patient care for patients at the FQHC clinic
- Supervise residents on the inpatient Family Medicine Teaching Service
- Precept with residents as they oversee an assigned panel of patients in an FQHC continuity clinic
The successful candidate should be a patient-focused, board-certified Family Medicine physician with a passion for teaching and providing comprehensive care for the underserved. Experience in graduate medical education is preferred.
