Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial to join our team at UFC GYM. As a Janitorial, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our gym facilities, ensuring a positive experience for our members.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and disinfect all gym equipment, floors, and surfaces.
  • Empty trash and recyclables regularly.
  • Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors, stairwells, and staircases.
  • Shampoo carpets as needed.
  • Dust and clean exercise equipment.
  • Clean and disinfect toilets, shower stalls, and changing areas.
  • Pick up debris and spillage promptly.
  • Restock locker rooms and toilets.
  • Clean and disinfect food preparation areas.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in designated storage areas.
  • Clean MMA areas, including mats, octagon, and bags.
  • Change light bulbs.
  • Report any areas of concern to management.
  • Respond to member requests and report any member complaints to management.
  • Complete checklists and logs in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work quickly, thoroughly, and independently.
  • Must know and understand the proper use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
  • Possess extreme attention to detail regarding cleanliness and safety.
  • Displays a positive and cheerful attitude towards members and staff.
  • Adheres to all safety rules.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least 6 months experience in janitorial or housekeeping.
