We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housing Security Specialist to join our team at the Salvation Army. As a key member of our residential support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular facility rounds to monitor the premises and identify potential safety hazards.
- Ensure that all designated doors are locked, cameras are functioning properly, and hallways are clear of obstacles.
- Provide supervision and support to residents during individual and group activities.
- Transport and/or accompany residents to off-site activities as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a residential or security setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
