Job Description:

The Developmental Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive support and services to individuals with autism and their families. This includes developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing behavioral health services, and collaborating with parents, teachers, and other service providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
  • Provide behavioral health services, including ABA therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other service providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Collect and analyze data to measure progress and make informed decisions about treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in special education, psychology, or related field required; master's degree preferred
  • Previous experience working with individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities required
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive salary range: $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience
