Caregiver - Senior Living Assistant

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Manager to join our team. As a Care Manager, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and services to our residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Build Meaningful Relationships: Develop strong relationships with residents and their families, providing assistance with daily living activities and attending to individual care needs.
- Notify Management of Changes: Inform management of any changes in a resident's condition and recommend adjustments to their care plan as needed.
- Assist with Life Skills: Support residents in life-enriching activities, such as daily routines, hobbies, and social events.
- Participate in Care Planning: Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized service plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
- Ensure Resident Safety: Physically check on residents throughout the shift and participate in the development of safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond to the dining needs of residents and guests, maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
- Dedication to Serving Seniors: Possess a strong passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
- Positive Attitude and Flexibility: Demonstrate a positive attitude and flexibility to perform various duties in service to residents and the team.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and may be required to maintain certifications in certain states.
- Previous Experience Working with Seniors: Preferably have previous experience working with seniors, with a strong understanding of their needs and preferences.
- Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the best interest of residents.
