Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Care Nurse Coordinator to join our team at the OBGYN Clinic. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for managing patient care plans, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Coordinate patient follow-up clinics, schedule tests and surgeries, and ensure timely communication with patients and families
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing and five years of relevant clinical nursing experience required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Alabama required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications may be required depending on the unit/department
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
