Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients for MRI exams, selecting anatomic and technical parameters, and producing high-quality images of the body.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Select anatomic and technical parameters to produce high-quality images of the body.
  • Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements:
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about patient care.
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current MRI Tech experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology/MRI Tech program.
  • Active unencumbered MRI Tech Indiana state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.
  • ARRT Certification.
