About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the nursing staff in our medical center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine nursing care and personal services to assigned patients, including activities of daily living, hygiene care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Document all care provided in the clinical record and observe significant conditions relevant to the patient's health status.
  • Perform diagnostic support duties, such as taking vital signs, collecting and transporting specimens, and preparing patients for discharge or tests.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure seamless patient care and support.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
