The RealReal's Authentication Centers are the heart of our operations, where our team of experts combines cutting-edge technology with in-depth knowledge to authenticate and process luxury goods. As a Jewelry Lab Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our authentication process.

• Operate XRF machines to accurately identify precious metal components
• Enter XRF readings into our database for accurate tracking and analysis
• Assess weights and measurements of jewelry items to ensure accuracy and quality
• Clean jewelry items using industry-standard equipment to maintain their integrity
• Collaborate with our authentication department to facilitate the processing of fine and fashion jewelry
• Operate CWED devices to accurately calculate the carat weight of diamonds on a piece of jewelry
• Enter CWED readings into our database for accurate tracking and analysis
• Scan items to their designated locations for efficient processing

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated problem solver with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of Google Docs and Gmail
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed
• Self-motivation and drive to achieve results
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
• Adaptability and openness to change
• Math skills

• Jewelry industry experience or interest a plus
