Labor Delivery Surgical Technician

About the Role:

As a Labor Delivery Scrub Tech at CommonSpirit Health, you will play a vital role in the preoperative, intra-operative, and postoperative phases of obstetrical surgical procedures. You will function as a team member and actively participate as a member of the Labor & Delivery Patient Care Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of surgical equipment and supplies
  • Provide support to patients and families during the surgical process
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one year of recent hospital experience in the capacity of an Operating Room Technician as OB Scrub Tech or OB Tech
  • Current CPR certification required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an OR Technician Training program and/or certification as an Operating Technician
