Job Opportunity: Structural Drafter

A leading engineering and architecture firm is seeking a skilled Structural Drafter to join their team in Irvine, CA.

Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Drafter to create bills of material, perform engineering calculations, and produce structural drawings and models using Revit Structure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate bills of material and enter information into the system.
  • Perform engineering calculations, layouts, and load/stress analyses.
  • Produce and manage structural drawings and models using Revit Structure.
  • Prepare building plans, designs, and construction documents.
  • Select construction materials and provide technical advice.
  • Coordinate and communicate with project teams and clients.
  • Ensure structural stability and compliance with building codes.
  • Support training and QA/QC for staff on CAD/Revit standards.
  • Conduct literature reviews, develop engineering models, and perform data analyses.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, briefs, and cost estimates.
  • Participate in software design and development.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of structural modeling experience.
  • Proficient in Revit Structure and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of structural engineering principles and steel construction.
  • Experience with various construction materials (steel, concrete, CMU, wood, aluminum).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and in a team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Schedule:

Hybrid work schedule with 2 days in the office.

Compensation:

$30-$40 per hour
