Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained in the dining areas and kitchen.
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation, as required.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment, utensils, and appliances used in the kitchen.
  • Unload and store deliveries.
  • Sweep and mop floors, especially in the event of broken or spilled items.
  • Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Must work well in high-pressure situations.
  • Must remain composed and objective under pressure.
