Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care on our Neuro Progressive Care unit.
About the Role
This is a part-time position working 7pm-7:30am shift with rotating weekends and holidays. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and provide leadership in implementing effective nursing care plans.
Responsibilities
- Care for critically ill patients with neurological conditions, utilizing your skills in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions and quality outcomes.
- Participate in identifying solutions to patient care variances and lead the implementation of evidence-based practice changes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; completion of a BSN within 5 years of hire required.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Proven clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Estimated Salary
$85,000 - $110,000 per year based on experience.
