We are seeking a proficient Backend Engineer with a strong foundation in Java and experience in cloud technologies. The primary goal of this initiative is to transition essential services to a cloud environment, with a focus on Azure, although familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS is also valuable.

This team is responsible for facilitating secure international wire transfers, ensuring the safe transmission of messages from the central system to the end recipients.

The objective of this project is to evaluate the performance of core services within a cloud infrastructure, serving as a pilot to assess the feasibility of further migrations.

We are looking for a detail-oriented software developer who can contribute to and critically assess the design and development of production software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in both software development and testing activities, emphasizing the implementation of testability, robustness, and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, technical analysts, and fellow engineers to refine and enhance product offerings.
  • Gather technical insights and customer requirements, leveraging your expertise to drive continuous improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in all phases of software development, including front-end and back-end development, database integration, network management, and user experience design.
  • Deliver customer-focused solutions in an Agile environment, fostering innovation and collaboration within your team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in C++/STL and multithreading.
  • Strong debugging, analysis, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with APIs, OpenAPI specifications, XML, and JSON.
  • Knowledge of MySQL and Python, as well as Linux/Shell scripting.
  • Experience with Azure and other cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of PKI, SSL, and TLS protocols.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
