Job Summary

This position contributes to the success of Crescent Services by creating positive experiences for every member and guest who visits the club. The Massage Therapist will create luxurious, comfortable, and relaxing environments and provide a variety of touch modalities to meet the individual needs of each guest.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective and safe physical massages that meet the members' needs and expectations.
  • Restore and restock treatment rooms to a clean, neat, relaxing, welcoming, and professional environment after each service.
  • Ensure the privacy of each guest by maintaining treatment rooms private, using proper draping of member/guest private body parts, and not discussing member physical and medical needs/conditions volunteered by member/guest with anyone that doesn't have a business reason for such.
  • Efficiently consult on relaxation and fitness techniques based on members/guest needs.
  • Enthusiastically share knowledge of services and amenities available to guests to assist them in feeling welcome.
  • Educate guests in recommended retail products to continue homecare appropriate for their needs.
  • Maintain efficient and current knowledge of retail, spa, and fitness products and services.
  • Create a luxurious experience for members and clients.
  • Interact with members and guests in a warm, welcoming, respectful, and highly professional demeanor.
  • Ensure Spa and retail areas are clean, neat, safe, and welcoming; remove any debris or misplaced items that you encounter, report any need for maintenance; report any restocking needs to Lead Concierge, Spa Supervisor or Department Head.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in same or similar positions in the Spa or similar industry.
  • Valid California Massage Therapist License.
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance.
  • Excellent time-management skills; prioritizing and completing assigned job tasks effectively.
  • Travel (by vehicle and plane) for business, training, and/or development, including overnight trips.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Computer Experience and NorthStar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey messages clearly and compose correspondence with correct and proper grammar.
  • Strong presentation skills; convey messages clearly and confidently; persuade and effect change positively.
  • Capable of working effectively independently with minimal supervision.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently meet deadlines and produce work in a timely manner.
  • Ability to elicit and accept constructive feedback.
