Key Responsibilities- Review blueprints and diagrams to assess job requirements and plan work accordingly
- Discuss project details with customers and resolve any issues or concerns
- Prepare work areas and ensure all necessary equipment and materials are available
- Perform maintenance, repair, replacement, or installation of plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, and water heaters
- Build and fit plumbing parts to accommodate job needs
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide courteous and professional customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure accurate use of tools and equipment
- Sufficient knowledge to handle assignments of routine and non-routine difficulty with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of NYC Plumbing Codes and medical gas systems
- Ability to operate power tools, including pipe threading machines, drill presses, and electric saws
- Ability to read blueprints and communicate effectively
- Medical Gas Installer certification preferred but not necessary
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7AM to 3PM, with some weekends and holidays as needed. The pay range is $45.54-$72.93.
