Job Summary:

As a key member of our team at Dover Corporation, you will be responsible for the electro-mechanical assembly and packaging of pumps, bridges, dryers, electrical components, and related equipment in a timely and accurate manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble assigned products according to blueprints, work instructions, or team leader guidance.
  • Package and crate equipment for shipment using controlled check sheets and order status reports.
  • Operate forklifts and aisle stackers to transport and relocate inventory or product.
  • Follow all safety and PPE requirements as per established company policies.
  • Utilize and maintain established inventory replenishment systems such as kan-ban, VMI, or CMI.
  • Communicate and coordinate part shortages with team leaders, production supervisors, or the purchasing department.
  • Assist supervisors and team leaders in maintaining inventory accuracy and the 5-S program.
  • Maintain a neat and clean work area.
  • Focus on continuous improvements within the company.
Requirements:
  • Blueprint reading skills are required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude is necessary.
  • Previous experience using hand and power tools is preferred.
  • Basic assembly skills and prior assembly experience are preferred.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
  • Prior experience using Oracle is preferred.
  • Prior hands-on experience with electrical components is preferred.
  • Completion of basic electricity course is preferred.
  • Ability to accurately interpret point-to-point wiring schematics is required.
