About Us:
Sonic Inspection Corporation specializes in Non-Invasive Fire Suppression Inspection, utilizing cutting-edge ultrasonic technology to assess and evaluate fire sprinkler piping within suppression systems. To support our national growth, we are hiring Trainees to develop into Inspection Technicians, responsible for conducting Guided Wrap Wave Ultrasonic (GWWU) inspections on diverse system types, particularly focusing on fire suppression applications.
Travel Requirements:
• Willingness to travel nationwide for 2-3 weeks each month.
Key Responsibilities:
• Undergo training to achieve certification in Guided Wrap Wave Ultrasound (GWWU) Level 1.
• Conduct precise and timely on-site Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections for clients.
• Implement and uphold a well-organized inspection schedule.
• Utilize mobile and laptop devices to manage inspection-related documentation.
• Ensure clear communication regarding processes before, during, and after inspections.
• Maintain exceptional standards of quality and excellence in service delivery.
• Accurately document, organize, and report NDT inspection findings.
• Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of experience as a fire sprinkler journeyman.
• Proficient in following both verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of adhering to travel and inspection schedules.
• Committed to following safety guidelines and procedures consistently.
• Able to work in confined spaces, including crawl spaces, above ceilings, or behind walls.
• Comfortable performing tasks in challenging positions, such as climbing ladders or using scaffolding.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Possess a valid driver's license that meets company standards.
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the United States.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals is essential.
• Proficiency in English is required.
