Job Title: MEP/HVAC Superintendent

Tanqeeb is seeking a highly skilled MEP/HVAC Superintendent to lead our team in the execution of MEP/HVAC services for our Major Client Project. The successful candidate will provide daily management and oversight of the EPC Contractor and its sub-contractors, ensuring timely completion of the project while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the MEP/HVAC team, ensuring effective execution of the project scope.
  • Appraise the performance of the EPC Contractor in terms of safety, quality, and schedule, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Supervise the assigned MEP/HVAC Construction personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and provide routine verbal and written progress reports to the Line Manager Major Client.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works and HVAC (heating ventilation Air conditioning) systems.
  • Firm understanding of Ashrae, or CIBSE standards and guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in an LNG plant, with installation of MEP, HVAC systems within the Process and Non-process, Commercial buildings, laboratory, restaurants, mosque, kitchens, explosion proof buildings, fire stations, Data centres, Sub Stations, Instrument houses, main control building.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Completions Databases and System Completions Processes.
  • Experience with Refrigerant pipe, with refrigerant piping design review, refrigerant installation, brazing, testing, freon leak testing, accessories installation, of site glass, suction line Filter dryers, sensing bulb, capillary piping, and all associated HVAC/refrigerant installation works in all buildings.
  • Coordination experience with all MEP, LV Switchgear, HVAC systems within Electrical rooms, Mechanical rooms, and providing end user with an accessible maintainable building.
