Job Title: Personal Training Lead Coach

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Training Lead Coach to join our team at Fitness Factory Gym in Edgewater. As a Personal Training Lead Coach, you will be responsible for leading small group fitness classes, providing instruction and guidance to members, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small group fitness classes, beginning and ending on time
  • Provide adequate warm-up, exercises, stretching, and cool down
  • Instruct members on effective workout methods and explain proper techniques
  • Prepare appropriate equipment, music, and handouts for each class
  • Assist members, answer questions, and maintain a positive exercise experience for members and class participants
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for classes
  • Cooperate and work well with other staff members

Requirements:

  • Certified Instructor (ACE, AFAA) or equivalent
  • Current Red Cross CPR certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in exercise science or related field preferred
  • Ability to motivate and inspire members to achieve their fitness goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
