Job Title: Local CDL A Driver Home Daily

Job Summary:

Epes Transport is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL A driver for our local routes. As a CDL A driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently within our designated local area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination safely and efficiently within our local routes
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to our customers
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel consumption, and other relevant data
  • Comply with all relevant regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 21 years old
  • Class A Drivers License
  • 1 Year of Tractor Trailer, 48-53 foot trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5
  • Stable work history
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents in last 3 years
  • No DOT preventable accidents in the last 5 years
  • Able to pass DOT physical, drug test and other evaluations
  • Meet the minimum requirements of FMCSR
