About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Aide to join our team at Heartland Hospice. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals and their families in their homes.

Responsibilities

As a Hospice Aide, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning, and help with meal preparation and feeding. Additionally, you will provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, and assist with various treatments and therapies as ordered by the healthcare team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and at least six months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology. You will also need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
