We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our legal team, reporting directly to the Associate Vice President & Deputy General Counsel. This role involves collaborating with various departments to deliver legal insights both independently and in conjunction with other legal professionals and external advisors. Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc., has consolidated a portion of its highly skilled workforce in the Northeast to create a more robust, efficient, and cost-effective team dedicated to serving our clients. Hill-LiRo is a firm with over 1100 employees, with locations in major cities.
Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts across various business functions, including construction subcontractor agreements, professional services, supplier agreements, design and consultant agreements, joint ventures, NDAs, and other commercial contracts.
- Evaluate Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for potential risks.
- Offer guidance on corporate compliance, company policies, and reporting and licensing obligations.
- Analyze legal risks associated with design and construction projects.
- Represent the Company during hearings.
- Conduct legal analysis of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the Company.
- Provide effective legal support and guidance to business units as required.
- Deliver additional in-house legal services as necessary for a construction and design firm.
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of legal experience with a focus on commercial transactions, risk management, and compliance, preferably within the construction or design sectors.
- Proficient in drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting transactional due diligence, and ensuring MBE/WBE contract compliance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding research, interpretation, and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
- Broad experience in various legal matters.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- We offer a competitive salary based on experience, a comprehensive benefits package, and a positive work environment.
- Compensation: Min: $120,000 - Max: $140,000. The range provided reflects the salary that the Firm believes, in good faith, it is willing to pay for the advertised position. Actual compensation will be determined based on individual qualifications.
