Your Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate CAD drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established standards, including layering, dimensioning, and naming conventions.
- Create detailed civil design drawings for grading and site development, utilities, utilizing Autodesk Civil3D software.
- Generate construction documents based on self-directed designs and engineering mark-ups, ensuring compliance with relevant specifications.
- Develop mine support and permitting exhibits for various site types using AutoCAD Map3D & Carlson Software.
- Process aerial drone and field survey data to produce mapping for engineering design.
- Handle Laser Scans and create BIM Models using Revit Software.
- Conduct volume and quantity calculations for earthwork and horizontal infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with various design teams, including Civil, Mining, Environmental, Survey, and Construction, to produce technical drawings.
- Manage multidiscipline projects, coordinating project setup and maintaining designer team schedules.
- Work closely with other CAD Team Members, Project Managers, and Project Engineers to understand project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Actively engage in your professional development.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Strong technical communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
