About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Deputy Clerk to join our team at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior-level management support to our Court Unit Executive/Clerk of Court, overseeing a team of 48 employees across six offices in Virginia.

Responsibilities: As Chief Deputy Clerk, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with court procedures, and providing strategic guidance to our judges. Your expertise in management and leadership will be essential in driving business outcomes and improving our services.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of six years' experience in a similar position, with at least three years in a management capacity. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer: In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of $170,944 to $204,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience. You will also receive a generous federal employee benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
