We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Machinist to join our team at Anchor Packaging LLC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating conventional mill, lathes, and grinders. Key duties include selecting, aligning, and securing holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, and work material. Additionally, the individual will calculate machining factors such as speed, feed, depth, and angle of cut, and inspect cutting tools for sharpness and usability.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position under the Medicinal Marijuana Provisions of the State of Arkansas. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience or a machine shop apprentice certificate. A high school diploma is also required.

• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, and work material.
• Calculate machining factors such as speed, feed, depth, and angle of cut, and coolant flow.
• Inspect cutting tools for sharpness and usability.
• Detect malfunctions in equipment and communicate their needs/resolutions with supervisors.
• Start and observe machine operations to detect malfunctions/out-of-tolerance machining and adjust controls/media accordingly.
• Use precision measuring instruments during manufacturing.
• Inspect work piece and create inspection documents (if necessary).
• Clean and perform maintenance on machines, tools, and parts.
• Perform general cleanup of surrounding area and equipment.

• A high school diploma is required. Machine shop apprentice certificate or 5 years of experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers/employees.
• Basic math skills that include geometry and algebra.
• BASIC computer skills using Word and Excel software.

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum. The package includes competitive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
